Welcome conference attendees!

As you are getting ready to join us for the 2nd Joint VRA + ARLIS/NA Conference in Minneapolis, you might still have questions about some things. The “About Minneapolis” link on the conference website will give you lots of information and tips as will many of our blog postings.

Airport/Hotel Transportation

Registration
Attendees can register on Wednesday evening at the registration desk that will be set up in the hotel lobby from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. On Thursday thru Sunday the registration and hospitality desk will be outside of the Red Wing Room, which is located on the third floor of the Hilton Hotel. The hours are 8 :00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Shhh….Silent Auction
If you are bringing items with you for the Silent Auction, please be sure to turn them in to the Registration Desk by 8:00 a.m. Friday, March 25. Bidding begins on Friday and ends on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

Volunteers
Volunteers are still needed for the hospitality desk on the last two days of the conference. If you have a spare hour or two, please complete the volunteer form, at: http://www.vra-arlis2011.org/InfoVolunteer.taf. Please contact Kristen Mastel meye0539@umn.edu, Registration and Hospitality Desk Coordinator, for more information.

Tours
If you have signed up for one of the tours on either Thursday or Monday, please check in with their tour shepherd at the main street level entrance to the hotel no later than 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
